Tonight I went to the Stars on Ice tour at the Bank Atlantic Center. It was so epic!

Joannie Rochette made me bawl like a fucking infant. It was magical to watch her live.

Moment of the night: The arena went silent after Jeremy Abbott's performance and I screamed "THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!" like a stalker. He turns around and waves like a giddy kid. ( Read more... )

Champions on Ice was a big successful show since 1969. Despite competition from the newer Stars on Ice, COI hung in there through the peak of figure-skating popularity in the 1990s and a change of ownership in 2006.
